This chap hasn't broken his wrists but he's indicating that between heaven and the earth he is the best. Big head! This is a statue of a Budda in the Temple in Hangzhou.

I like these pictures around the west lake in Hangzhou. It is said that there is heaven in the sky and Hangzhou and Suzhou on the earth.

This is a picture inside the Humble administrators garden in Suzhou.

Ah! An Asian loo. I was really concerned before I went to China about the lack of a seat during essential solitary time. Fortunately, I had a lasting bout of diarrhea which meant I didn't have to spend much time with this item. I also discovered that if you had to use a loo in a restaurant then quite often its a blessing you don't have to make skin contact with anything. Take you own loo paper though.
